Ebu Press Ltd (EPL) is proud to announce that all of its journals have officially been accepted as members of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)—a globally respected organization that promotes integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct in scholarly publishing. This milestone marks a remarkable achievement for EPL and underscores its unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of editorial and publication ethics. EPL currently publishes three peer-reviewed international journals,
Each of these journals serves as a trusted platform for disseminating original, high-quality research in their respective scientific disciplines. The attainment of COPE membership by all three journals not only demonstrates the publisher’s long-standing dedication to ethical editorial practices but also highlights its leadership in advancing responsible research communication across Asia and beyond.
The COPE is an internationally recognized body that supports editors, publishers, and authors in maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record. COPE provides guidance on ethical issues such as authorship, peer review, conflicts of interest, plagiarism, data falsification, and editorial decision-making. Membership in COPE is a mark of trust and accountability, signifying adherence to globally accepted standards in scholarly publishing.
Ebu Hafsa, Chief Executive Officer of EPL, expressed pride in this achievement, stating, “Attaining COPE membership for all our journals is a reflection of our strong commitment to ethical publishing and research integrity. At EPL, we believe that credible science begins with transparent editorial processes and strict adherence to ethical standards. This milestone reinforces our dedication to building global trust and ensuring that every article we publish contributes meaningfully to the scientific community.”
The EPL extends sincere appreciation to COPE for recognizing its efforts, as well as to its dedicated team of editors, reviewers, and authors. Their collective professionalism, scholarly excellence, and adherence to ethical guidelines have been central to this success. With COPE membership now achieved across all its journals, EPL looks forward to further strengthening its role in global scientific publishing. The publisher remains steadfast in its mission to provide open-access platforms that foster credible, inclusive, and impactful research dissemination.
Among the nine Bangladeshi journals that are members of COPE, three of them are published by EPL, marking a significant contribution to the nation’s growing reputation for ethical and quality research publishing. This accomplishment positions EPL among a select group of publishers in Bangladesh that have successfully aligned all their journals with international ethical oversight standards. The recognition from COPE not only enhances the publisher’s global reputation but also sets a benchmark for ethical and responsible publishing practices in the region.
